It also allows for us to ‘reach back’ and re-establish the kind of brotherly bonds that men had in simpler times. I leave every meeting feeling that I have made great connections and grown as a human being.

I think the simplest and easiest way for a man to become a truly outstanding father, son, husband, neighbour and/or community leader is by regularly being in the company of those men, and that is why I am a part of the Universal Brotherhood.
I’ve found that the single greatest currency we can acquire throughout our lives is the currency of meaningful bonds and relationships. These bonds can extend into business ventures, but also as lasting friendships and sources of all types of support. The Universal Brotherhood provides us all with an opportunity to engage with one another and expand our network in a very communal environment. More importantly, we are free to engage each other on deeper levels, which provides us all with the opportunity to develop meaningful friendships that aren’t merely for the sake of posturing on social media, but are powerful associations which make us better, stronger individuals. For many years, I have stayed away from member clubs due to the annoying presence of pyramid schemes and my concerns with being exploited. I felt like most member clubs just want to use you, but from the first time I attended a Brotherhood gathering I appreciated the difference. For a change I was really excited by the opportunity to connect with the energy of like-minded individuals. Moreover, in the Brotherhood you are welcomed as a man among equals, and your status is not about things like your profession, education, or background. You are free to be yourself and socialize with the most outstanding and outgoing individuals I have ever met. Above said, I would highly recommend the Universal Brotherhood to any man looking to upgrade and optimize his body, mind and soul.
TUB is something that I am extraordinarily proud to be a part of. It has helped immensely in my journey of self-improvement and has taught me how to really emanate compassion in my everyday life. Meeting all the people in this brotherhood has opened my mind to so many new perspectives, and has been a key player in stripping away my judgments. I’ve been attending TUB since one of the earliest meetings back in the summer of 2011. I immediately resonated with the five principles and was interested in meeting other men who gelled with them too. I’ve been to almost every one since. I’ve met some exceptional men there and made some awesome friends. The diverse brethren bring a dynamic blend of experienced and youthful wisdom that makes this community very unique. After each gathering I leave feeling recharged, invigorated, inspired, and reminded that there are great men in this city and the world making it a better place in their own ways. The Universal Brotherhood is a community that enriches my life I’m grateful to be a part of it.
If you have a desire to be your best YOU, meaning simply that you take an interest in your own personal growth and well-being, the TUB fraternity is definitely the place to help facilitate that growth. The journey to self-improvement does not end at TUB – it begins here. I’ve had the privilege to be present from the inception of TUB, and I can honestly say that I am a better person for it. After each meeting led by the founder Garth and a diverse group of intelligent guest speakers, I feel inspired by a sense of positivity that permeates all aspects of my life. I feel sharper in mind, body and spirit. The chance to sit in a room with such a dynamic group of men and bounce ideas around is a rare and wonderful opportunity that I value at each meeting. Why I am a TUB-man. Family is very important to me, but I learned over the years, to become a grounded and confident man; I need to share experiences with, and learn from great men. I was blessed with a great father, Scouting, the Army Cadets, various associations and sports clubs in my early years. I have also been lucky enough to meet some of the most loyal friends and I’ve managed to stay connected with most of them for well over 30 years.
It’s not an easy task coping with the stress we face as men as we mature and experience life’s ups and downs. The male ego and insecurities prevents us from opening up to each other and seeking guidance or a compassionate ear to just listen. 2011 was a dark year in my life with a career fail, and many subsequent material loses. Through the brotherhood and fraternity in TUB with its core principals of SWIPC, I found the strength, good health and lust for an excellent life that I thought I had lost. I am ready!
The Universal Brotherhood has been an incredible gift in my life. To be part of an amazing group, full of exceptional men of the highest caliber, is a rare and very precious treat. I have been exposed to so much knowledge and wisdom, from men who are experts in there fields. That they have cut my learning curve by years in a wide verity of field that I am interested in learning. And to top that off, I now have dozens off brothers who I trust completely, and who I can count on fully whenever I need them. And that, for a men like myself is very important to have. And it is something I will continue to treasure and cherish for the rest of my life.

TUB is to a man as water is to a fish. The reason I use such a strong metaphor to describe the benefits of TUB is because in my opinion, the masculine nature of a man is endangered in our modern society and TUB will save some of our asses. TUB is one of the few forums where men are encouraged and required to be men: to uphold the moral virtues of being men not savages. This doesn’t have anything to do with terms pertaining to one’s sexuality such as hetero-sexual, homo-sexual or metro-sexual: it is about us expressing ourselves best as simply powerful, effective men. TUB has given me the forum to express my Masculine Moral Code, a place to strengthen my Masculine Virtues with other men and an opportunity to learn and grow with men with the same high Moral Code.
Dear prospective TUB brother, if you define WEALTH as REFINING the quality of all your relationships, including your relationship with yourself, then your attendance at each Universal Brotherhood meeting is PRICELESS!!! Personally I love sports & especially team sports, so imagine being on a team with top players who are passionately present to help you play your best. Do you think you will play a little bit better or a WHOLE LOT BETTER? That’s what the Universal Brotherhood is all about. Our meetings are like a team practice and our fields of play are strength, wisdom, integrity, prosperity & compassion. At TUB we play all out, no one hogs the puck or ball, and its fun! Meeting Garth and joining the Universal Brotherhood was one of the best things in my life. It truly is a band of brothers and I felt it more than ever very recently. Just the other day on November 18th at 12:30am, I realized that my birthday had arrived while I was out with a group of my TUB brothers. As they toasted me I felt more genuine warmth and fraternal love than I’ve felt in many years. In fact, it actually reminded me of my days back in the Russian army, when I had nobody closer than my brothers –in-arms. I wish to thank you with all of my heart, brother Garth, for bringing us all together. You’ve changed my life.
When I was first introduced to the Universal Brotherhood I had a sense of reluctance… How does this work? What is this all about? I have come to realize that it involves interacting with genuine men of character in a positive environment for mutual benefit. I have made sincere connections through this brotherhood and feel that the outline of the fraternity creates opportunities for growth. I am happy to be a part of this progressive group of exceptional men.
There are very few groups that truly facilitate compassion, support and strength like The Universal Brotherhood does, regardless of race, culture, religion or beliefs. TUB allows each man to share in a group so that everyone can learn from what is said, as well as provide insights and guidance. To connect with men who stand for integrity is a fresh breath of air in a world that seems to sadly embody greed and selfishness.
The Universal Brotherhood has been a unique opportunity to be part of a fraternal brotherhood of men who are committed to living their greatest lives. It was not until I joined TUB that I realized I did not have a real community of men of all walks of life to learn from, bond with, and call friends, as united we continue along the path of life. I have received many benefits from being part of this fraternity. The most meaningful benefit however, has been connecting with like-minded men who are waking up to an increased sense of humanity and shared responsibility to be great men. I am grateful that Garth has chosen to bring us all together to share this special brotherhood experience.
In Buddhism, there are three ‘jewels’ of development: knowledge, fellow students and an appropriate teacher. Modernity offers us nearly limitless knowledge and many willing teachers. But on the path of masculine growth and refinement, there are very few groups of students we can rely upon to help our individual journeys, however it may develop. The Universal Brotherhood was a most unexpected, but treasured jewel to encourage, aid and non-judgmentally support a male developmental journey at any age, stage or *ad hoc* path. Such open-ended, universal and expansive support is indeed a rare gift.
In this day of social media it seems as if our circles, while expanding, continue to contract. And as we become connected to many and more people, the quality of our connections continues to degrade and suffer. When I was introduced to the idea of The Universal Brotherhood, I was intrigued by the opportunity to meet other upwardly mobile and forward thinking men outside of my normal circle of friends and acquaintances. As I feel myself disconnecting from much of the superficial and mundane connections made in daily life, I was excited to make other, more substantive connections, with brothers from a varied and broad range of experiences.
TUB did not disappoint. At the first meeting I attended, I met many. Among others, a Reiki Master, a Master Meditator, a Champion Martial Artist, an acclaimed musician, a Tech Expert, a Chef, a man who has survived having his head nearly removed from his body in a horrific accident. We shared stories, ate together laughed and began work toward building the Brotherhood into an organization much greater than its parts. And this work continues. Not only when we meet, but on a daily basis in our lives, as the examples and support we provide each not only bolsters our development, but helps us to become bigger and better men than we were when we first met.
If you have been invited and one day have an opportunity to join the Brotherhood, I hope you will have the strength to put aside your doubts and realize that as you grow old your circle will continue to shrink, while the brotherhood continues to grow. It is an opportunity to be a part of something larger than yourself, to commiserate with men who are all collectively pushing in the direction of success and contentment, and to have support and fellowship from a very rich and diverse cross section of our world. I pray you will not falter.
You shouldn’t come to the Universal Brotherhood. Unless of course you enjoy sharing tales of exceptional Samurai warriors over a refreshing glass of iced tea, then listening to the powerful voice of our musclely-armed host speak as the group raises intelligent discourse on a number of iconic pieces of literature amongst friends and future friends who relish the ideals of strength, wisdom, integrity, prosperity & compassion.
Yes my friends, I am doing you a favor. Don’t come. Unless you are weird, and enjoy being in a room with many incredible people at the same time with whom you can share a laugh that it ends up being overwhelming, and makes you realize how important meaningful bonds are, which in turn will cause you to examine your own priorities and ideals, which can be quite fatiguing and take time away from the latest celebrity gossip.
Not to mention who among us hasn’t shaken their proverbial fist in the air as Farmer Dave brings us his farm fresh organic food, thus making it impossible to eat poorly, and in turn removing all the convenient excuses one would have to buy new clothes due primarily to weight gain brought on by excessive processed food consumption?
Some may accuse me of misrepresenting this great organization: of being cynical and deceptive. To them I simply ask this question: If everyone finds out how fantastic this group of men is, then everyone will come, and then eventually I would have no place left to sit!
The Universal Brotherhood is a family of creative, entrepreneurial, forward thinking, conscious gentlemen. Together we share our experiences, and collectively move towards success in all facets of life, emphasizing the cornerstones of wisdom, strength, compassion, prosperity, and integrity. Each of us are on our own journeys towards greater advancements in income, influence and impact on the world we live in. It’s such a blessing to have a group of like minded men who have your back. No man is left behind in our collective pursuits of excellence and prosperity in all areas of life.
Garth Sam, the founder of TUB, is a charismatic, well-versed soul on matters of intimacy, expanded states of consciousness, networking, coaching, business, friendship, mentorship, and leadership. Garth serves our group through his capacity to bring us together under one roof for stimulating conversation and unique brotherly bonds, something that is often lacking in a world that moves so quick it’s easy to become isolated.
There is massive momentum and creative energy emerging from our group at the moment. Something big is happening, and I think many of us can feel it. A friend of mine basically had to drag me out to a meetup. I judged it based on the design of the online flyer he forwarded to me and thought it was some goofy mystical nonsense. I trusted his word that I would enjoy it and came along. Since that first meet a couple years ago I find myself really looking forward to the events and seeing the men. It’s a special group curated by a man with really great vision (Garth). I feel like a better man each time I leave a TUB event, and I find myself saying, “how could these meetings be this good every time?” It’s good fellowship, good celebration of each other and ourselves, good character men, and good relevant content that comes in different and interesting forms each time. It’s an honour for me to be part of the group, and I only hope that adding my essence does as much for the other men as theirs has done for me. Thank you Garth.
A friend introduced me to TUB because I was looking for networking opportunities. However, TUB is much more. It is a unique organization where a man can be himself without being judged. I’ve seen men openly cry, laugh and share every emotion in between! For me, finding TUB was like finding my path from an independent to a group way of thinking. How empowering it is to meet all these amazing men, all very keen and on their path. All unique in their own right and yet still kindly and openly sharing the best information that they know in a safe environment. We talk about real modern issues for the purpose of exposing the truth. TUB is where men bond. It’s awesome.
I’ve been a TUB member for around 2 years now and all I can say is that TUB has been an amazing experience for my team and myself. I have enjoyed the incredible bonds created through the Brotherhood. I was introduced to Garth Sam the positively inspirational founder of TUB, through a long-time member, and dear friend Ian Levine in January of 2016. At the time I was looking for something new in my life: a spiritual part of me was lacking and I was seeking to find greater personal fulfilment. Interestingly enough the universe answered my wants and needs. I was welcomed to TUB and I have been attending TUB as regularly as possible events ever since.
The group meetings are made up of men from various social and economic walks of life who come together and share and their experiences. As a man in TUB you not only share customs which create male bonding, but you also enjoy pride in being part of a group that is uniquely outstanding, compassionate, understanding, accepting, and supportive. Everyone present has opportunities to learn about themselves in their own personal way.
I am inspired by the stories of strength and challenges of men in today’s world and value the encouragement and the feedback I get from the group to help me deal with various aspects of my life. I really enjoy TUB meetings for the excellent discussions on an interesting variety of topics, and the great people who I can expand my social network with. Just coming to TUB events, I always take home an important message to try to lead my life in a positive way. This has made me feel empowered to take on the challenges of everyday life.

My experience in The Universal Brotherhood has been very fulfilling in many ways. From meeting men of character, team building activities, and learning how to continually evolve in those 5 core tenants of strength, wisdom, integrity, prosperity and compassion. When I joined TUB, I grew. I became more conscious of myself, my friends and my place in the whole scheme of life. Over time and years I have been looking for a place where I could connect authentically with other men of different background and beliefs, where I can share or learn their virtues, wisdom and information related to spirituality, relationships, productivity and strength. I can’t express well enough how TUB is tailored to meet those needs for myself and connect me with other masculine men in the city of Toronto. For me this is a sacred space where I can share these opinions and views without condemnation or judgment. I have learned a lot from Garth and I am very happy to have this opportunity to get together on a regular basis with him and other men sharing profound conversation and very delicious meals too.
As a man I have found it difficult to navigate what a man is supposed to be and how we are supposed to act. Having my father as a role model is amazing but really only gives one perspective and the media seems to give an unrealistic image to live up to. After hearing about TUB for the first time when Garth spoke at another event I knew that this was a group of men that have the same questions I have. A group of men that want to define what being a man is and to be the best men we can be for the benefit of our families, our communities and the world. There are very few activities in my life, other than working out, that actually make a profound impact to my well being . Being a part of TUB has done just that. Some of the things I have gained through TUB are impossible to measure: from camaraderie to friendships, a frame of mind which improves my manhood, and most importantly my ability to really be a great father. We men all think we know our version of what being a man is: TUB reminds us and brings to the forefront the basic elements which are often forgotten or simply ignored. Garth , the man at the helm of this ship, really walks the walk which is both impressive and inspiring.
TUB is an amazing group. As the youngest member who joined at age 13, I have had the unique opportunity to absorb all TUB’s great teachings at such a young age. In addition to the group’s key tenants: strength, wisdom, integrity, compassion, prosperity; which are explained and are vital to a MAN’s success, much more is taught and experienced.
My father and I have been part of this forum for 2 years now, and I can say with absolute certainty that TUB has, and is continuing to help me become the best MAN I can be. Because of my young age, the group is having an extremely positive influence on shaping the MAN I am becoming. Being a modern tech person employed for my knowledge of everything IT, I find social media platforms somewhat lacking in the realistic connection with humanity department. Much like everything online that promises a human connection, none of these platforms can actually deliver real human connection because by their nature they are disconnected & distant simulations of humanity. The Universal Brotherhood of course delivers on the basic need of human contact, but what it does that no other group can do is provide you with a meaningful connection to a group of your peers who are like-minded, aware and actualized men. This is something which is sorely missed in our day to day lives. TUB offers not only a platform for meaningful discussions, a forum for becoming a better person, insightful ideas, and an opportunity to learning more about yourself, but also the chance to share these things with others who are on the same quest to become better men. I cannot say enough about the contribution to my life that this group has had. It has connected me with some great people, and given me the opportunity to contribute my knowledge to other men who actually want to listen. As well it is very refreshing not to deal with the usual egotistical competition with other men. Instead TUB encourages us each to compete with ourselves and to support each other as we do so.

As a TUB member, I have gained the strength and ability to share my masculinity with my peers, and to understand the value of being a better man not only for myself but also for the community. I am proud to say that being part of this tribe has given me a fellowship, and I believe that we all can work more effectively as a group to make the world a better place.
I used to shy away from cultivating my masculinity, for fear of becoming the walking meat-head stereotype. No longer! Because of the healthy environment and what the men of TUB stand for – the values of Strength, Wisdom, Integrity, Prosperity & Compassion – for the first time I feel empowered to develop my masculinity & celebrate it in a new light as a positive quality.
