Who Are You?

Who are you? One of my favorite classic rock bands (The Who) once
asked this question in a song. Today for TUB I offer instead Verse 33
from Ralph Allan Dale’s translation of Lao Tzu’s famous book of wisdom
the “Tao Te Ching” as a tool that provides some sage commentary on the
subject. After all, are there many (any?) more important questions
that an evolutionary Man should be trying to answer? Chew & digest
brothers.

Who Are You?
If you understand others, you are astute.
If you understand yourself, you are insightful.
If you master others, you are uncommonly forceful.
If you master yourself you have uncommon inner strength.
If you know when you have enough, you are wealthy.
If you carry your intentions to completion, you are resolute.
If you find your roots and nourish them, you will know longevity.
If you live a long creative life, you will leave an eternal legacy.

This Is An Evolutionary Men’s Movement!

Good day my fellow “evolutionaries”! For those of you who may be unfamiliar with my use of the above term, I have dubbed us “Evolutionary Men” by which I mean Men who are pro-actively interested in an ongoing process of personal reflection, refinement & self-development. TUB is NOT a revolutionary organization: TUB is an EVOLUTIONARY organization! In other words, while all Men who subscribe to the tenets of TUB are welcome here, TUB is not a political organization.

TUB is a positive philosophical paradigm in action: an ever-expanding international fraternal community of Men who want to improve themselves & the world around them. We are truth-seekers, change-makers, light-workers, psychonauts, soulwarriors, role models, intrepid leaders-by-example & inspired champions of humanity! We are renaissance Men for the 21st Century: curious, bold, compassionate, adventurous & ever-eager to LEARN as we GROW. We are inspired & we are inspiring because we aspire to STEP UP as exceptional representatives of the BEST qualities of enlightened masculine vitality!

Yes, for many this sounds like an intimidating mantle to assume BUT I encourage YOU to be bigger than your fears of failure & more courageous than your doubts. “REAL” MEN TRY TO BE BETTER MEN & TUB exists to support & celebrate the EFFORTS of ALL MEN who are leaning in! Let us look to the most noble examples of great Men – past & present – and strive sincerely to be like such honorable icons. IT’S OUR TIME! THE WORLD NEEDS MORE EVOLUTIONARY TUB-MEN…and United

In Honor of IWD

Today as Evolutionary Men, TUB officially celebrates International Women’s Day. It remains an objective fact that Women as a whole still represent the largest disadvantaged, oppressed & abused group of people on the planet. All conscious human be-ings therefore – especially Men – should actively endeavor to create a world where all Women of all ages are safe & free to express their greatest personal potential. Today as you go about your business, I encourage you to mindfully honor all of the wonderful Women who have helped you to become a better Man, and to recommit to being a champion for the holistic well-being of our daughters, sisters, mothers, grandmothers, aunts, nieces, lovers & female life partners.

Remember, we are as evolved & enlightened as we are compassionate & connected to ALL, and TUB is unequivocally about supporting the exceptional expression of our masculine best.
